Savor Sarasota Restaurant Week – A Preview
Here’s what you can expect for two weeks of dining adventures!
It’s like the surest sign of a Sarasota summer; Savor Sarasota Restaurant Week. Don’t ask me why it isn’t “Restaurant Weeks.” Visit Sarasota County might want to consider that little tweak for next year since these fantastic deals stretch for a full two weeks.
Whether you want to say week or weeks, the end result is exactly the same. You’ll get some of the best bang for your buck on a bunch of the most popular restaurant names in town. If you’ve never explored some of these places, this is the opportunity that you’ve been waiting for. And, in some cases, you didn’t even realize you’d been waiting for it!
We’ve got a few different perspectives planned for you in the next two weeks. One will be a detailed view of a couple of restaurant offers, and another will be a chef profile. So keep an eye on your inbox for both of those.
This, my hungry Sarasota food friends, will serve as your introduction to the culinary adventures happening around town for the next couple of weeks. So sit back, grab your highlighter, and let’s take a 30,000-foot view of what you can expect to find AND eat!
Here are the questions that any responsible journalist would ask. Not that this applies here. 😀
WHAT: SAVOR SARASOTA RESTAURANT WEEK
WHEN: JUNE 1-14, 2022
WHERE: ALL OVER SARASOTA AND MANATEE COUNTIES
WHY: BECAUSE WE KNOW HOW MUCH YOU LOVE TO EAT!
Those are the basics. Pretty simple so far, right? Now let’s peel back the onion!
This year, thirty-plus Sarasota area restaurants will be offering a special prix fixe menu for the first two weeks of June. These multi-course menus will be specially priced at $20 for lunch and $35 for dinner.
I know that most of you eat out regularly and with a lot of enthusiasm. I know this because you were so generous with your feedback in our reader’s survey.
📝 In our just completed reader’s survey, more than 80% of you indicated that you dine out three or more times per month!
See what I mean? You guys dine out with GUSTO!
Enough with the tease. I know that you want to know where you can eat all of this delicious, reasonably priced food. So OK, here’s the big reveal (not quite as dramatic as a gender reveal, but it’s the best a food site can do!). ** As per our usual custom here, we’re listing them in alphabetical order for the sake of fairness
