On Friday, January 9th, Magnum Wine and Tastings along with C’est Cheese will play host to one of Mendocino’s top rated winemakers, Greg Graziano. The Vernona Restaurant at the Sarasota Ritz-Carlton will be the setting for what is sure to be a memorable evening of great wine and food. Greg is the owner and winemaker of the Graziano Family of Wines. Back in the 1940’s Greg’s Grandfather, Vincenzo started the winery which Greg operates today. He is a third generation winemaker and oversees the four labels that make up the Graziano Family of Wines. Throughout the night he will be sharing his knowledge and expertise of his particular wines as well as the wine making business.
I addition to an evening of fantastic wine, a full four course dinner prepared especially by Ritz-Carlton Chef de Cuisine, Greg Howe will be served. Here’s what the nights guests can expect:
First Course
Oven roasted local baby beets, purple watercress, Point Reyes blue cheese, raspberry vinaigrette
Second Course
Seared Scuba Diver Scallop
Corn fondue, local shiitake, black truffle
Third Course
Olive Oil Poached Beef
Blumenberry Farms root vegetables, truffled pomme puree, sauce béarnaise
Fourth Course
American Artisanal Cheese Selections from C’est Cheese
