Move over Hob Nob and Five Guys, Sarasota has a brand new hamburger joint and it’s called Square 1 Burgers & Bar.
Newly opened at 1737 S. Tamiami Trail (just across from Sarasota Memorial Hospital), Square 1 has a fantastic looking menu of burger choices. And, I mean choices.
Of course you can have your burger creation made up with 100% Angus Beef. But, if you want something a little different try buffalo, chicken, turkey and even ostrich! Now that’s having it your way.

I saw that place today driving down 41, my first thought was if the last 3 restaurants there didn’t make it. How is this one going to. Some buildings are just bad luck for restaurants.
Burger King used to be locacted across the street. It didn’t even make it there.

I brought two friends, one has successful restaurants in Sarasota
and they both raved about the food the presentation and the decor.
They felt the location is a clear winner now that the parking lot was
expanded. The Kobe burgers were amazing and the vegetarian burger
that I had was the best I ever had in a restaurant.
I feel Sarasota patrons will enjoy and support a beautiful place
to dine with their friends and family.

Looooved the place!! Its a hip new place for adults and kids to enjoy a burger and a beverage….the decor is cool and uber chic!!! And the food is delish also. The sliders were great and nice choice of some different sides…give it a try…you wont be disappointed!!
This place is great. I didn’t expect the atmosphere to be as trendy as it was by the outside. Burgers are amazing as well as the onion rings and great happy hour.
