Here we go!
Savor Sarasota Restaurant Week is here. And, I’m just assuming we’re all ready to EAT! There’s been a lot of promo leading up to these two weeks. Now the fun starts.
Getting a fantastic value at some our best Sarasota restaurants is a pretty great thing. To be able to enjoy a $29 three course dinner or a $15 three course lunch is a pretty nice value. Visit Sarasota County has put together a pretty impressive list this year. Fifty Sarasota food finds.
We’re going to try and feature one each day for the next two weeks. We won’t be able to get to them all. So, we’re going to cherry pick some of our favorites. That’s not to say that they all aren’t worth your culinary attention. But some of the menus just caught our eye.
Today: Amore by Andrea

Dinner Second Course (Choice of one)
Home Made Ravioli of the Day
Linguine Bolognese

STANDOUTS: Usually, I steer clear of chicken items on a restaurant menus. They tend to be spectacularly unspectacular. This is a clear exception. Andrea puts his special, inspired touch on the usually forgettable chicken. So, either the Chicken Amore and the Ravioli of the Day would probably be my choice. You also can’t go wrong winding things up with some Tiramisu.
BONUS: Andrea is going to be offering a special summer prix-fixe menu at his original Siesta Drive location (2085 Siesta Drive). For $25 you can enjoy a delicious three course meal all summer long.
