Valentine’s Day can be a tough one. Not from the standpoint of “do I have a Valentine or not.” But, from more of a “what should I do for dinner on the big night” kind of way. We all know there are two major schools of thought on this. It’s pretty much either, in or out. And, there is no denying there’s a small amount of pressure to get it right.
If you opt for “in” it’s not that big of a deal. This is what you should do, follow closely…
1 – Find a couple of recipes you can EASILY execute
2 – Go to the store and buy stuff
3 – Prep and cook
4 – Enjoy a nice romantic evening with just the two of you (Oh, don’t forget TV off, music on).
Yes, it’s really just that easy. But, it’s not for everybody. If your leaning toward “out”, that’s when things can get messy.
You don’t need me to tell you that Valentine’s Day is a gigantic day for the restaurant business. It’s one of the busiest nights of the dining out year. So, if you’re going to be among the hungry, but, loving masses, you have got to make a good choice and have a plan.
That’s where we can help. We’re going to give few options to help ease the anxiety of making the correct call.
Louies Modern
First off, you can’t go wrong at Louies on any night. It’s always a good choice. This Valentine’s Day, they are really pulling out all the stops. They calling it a “Pure Candlelight Valentine’s Day.” Now that sounds intriguing. They’re going to light the dining room primarily with candlelight. That should make for some great, romantic ambiance. They’re also featuring a three course $60 per person menu. And, it features some delicious options.

Now, I would never be so bold as to tell you what to order. But, let’s just say that you should make sure and save room for dessert. Eat dessert first has been the mantra of sweet lovers everywhere. In this case, it might actually be warranted. Oh, FYI, if you do that, it’s called an appetizer!
If for some reason you can’t do your Valentine’s Day on Valentine’s Day, they will be serving the same menu on February 15TH too.
