Euro style, Rosemary location.
Take your time. Slow down, Enjoy the day. These are all feelings that spring to mind when sitting at newly open Lolita Tartine and enjoying one of their name bearing signature open faced sandwiches.
Lot of sandwiches can qualify as open faced. A lox and bagel, a turkey (or beef) Manhattan and even a savory Eggs Benedict. Courtesy of a fresh, new Rosemary District restaurant, most of Sarasota has just been formally introduced to, The Tartine.
A feast for your eyes and taste buds. As you can see this is not your garden variety open faced sandwich. This sandwich has style and class (if its even possible for a sandwich to have class). In this version, a nice slice of toasted hearty rye bread is the base for thinly sliced smoked salmon, Tzatziki sauce, cucumbers and fresh herbs. Its appropriately entitled, The Gauguin. A work of culinary art to be certain.
Located on 5th Street in the Rosemary District, Lolita Tartine is educating hungry Sarasotans about the ways of this delicious French treasure. The new restaurant is housed in the former Sarasota Olive Oil Company (for those of you who are keeping score at home).
Open for breakfast, lunch AND dinner, five nights each week, Lolita, is an exciting venture by the folks who brought us downtown dining icon, Cest La Vie! Their latest offering is likely to stand on its own two feet pretty quickly.
The menu you say. Why yes, weve got that for you. Bon Apetit!

Bonjour,
Thinking of bringing along a guest my next visit to your lovely restaurant.
Any chance of finding gluten-free dishes?
Merci,
