Unless you’ve been spending the past six months in a cave or hunkered down in an undisclosed location, you’ve no doubt been exposed to the Twitter craze. Seems like everybody from Ashton Kutcher to CNN to Oprah is “Tweeting”, or, at least talking about it. Even Sarasota is in the mix!
For the past eight months we have been using Twitter to help get out the word on some of the great happenings at our local Sarasota restaurants. But, we’re not alone in using this relatively new networking tool to try and promote our eateries. Our local restaurateurs are getting into the action too! In a couple of cases REALLY getting into it!
I thought now might be a good time to try and give our budding Sarasota restaurant Twitterers a helping hand in building their following. Here’s a list of the restaurants in town that are using Twitter. Disclaimer: It is possible (and probable) that this list is not complete. If you’re using the service, just click on the link and “follow” them. You’ll be able to know what’s going on with your favorite place anytime, day or night.
