⏰ OK, Time’s Almost Up. If you want to enjoy some of the best dining deals of the summer, you’re going to have to act quickly. And I mean QUICKLY. 🏃♂️
So, in an effort to help you make these tough decisions, we’ve put together a short Savor Sarasota highlight list for you.
All of the 60+ restaurants that are participating have been putting their best dishes forward these past two weeks. We think these are some of the ones you might consider putting on that last-minute to-do list. 📝
LUNCH (Two Courses – $25)
• Evie’s on the Bay (Chicken Marsala – Chicken breast with mushrooms and marsala wine sauce)
• Boca Sarasota (Pimento Turkey BLT – Smoked turkey, Nueske’s Bacon, pimento cheese, bibb lettuce, tomato, brioche, house-cut sea salt fries or couscous salad)
• Cafe L’Europe (Compressed Watermelon Salad – Juicy watermelon, local greens, goat cheese infused with lavender, crispy Serrano ham, extra-virgin olive oil, balsamic reduction)
• Crow’s Nest Marina & Restaurant (Coconut Haddock- Topped with a Key Lime Beurre Blanc, Served with Basmati Rice and Green Beans)
DINNER (Three Courses – $40)
• Amore Restaurant (Pappardelle Ala Bolognese – Wide, flat pasta with home-made beef meat sauce)
• Duval’s Fresh. Local. Seafood (Seared Coriander Salmon – Coriander-Crusted Salmon, Carrot and Zucchini Vermicelli, Creamy Onion Sauce)
• Andrea’s (Veal Polpettine in Mushroom in a Red Wine Sauce) – SAVOR MENU HERE
• Crab & Fin (Low Country Bouillabaisse – lobster infused seafood fumé with Spanish saffron, today’s market catch, middle neck clams, mussels, gulf shrimp & French bread rouille)
• A Sprig of Thyme (Volaille au Marsala – Skillet French onion chicken, blue cheese, and wild mushrooms, cooked in a rich Marsala wine sauce, served with risotto and seasonal vegetables)
All right! Well, now you are fully armed for your last-minute Savor travels. We did the hard part for you, the research!
This is basically the two-minute warning or the bottom of the ninth (or you can insert your own sports metaphor here). If you’re going to be a Savor Sarasota participant, you had better do it quickly!
