Ever wonder how much it all adds up to? Find out on Tuesday (NOV 19th, 7pm) as part of their BIG birthday party. Theyll count them all. Be there to witness it!
CELEBRATE PART II Right next door to SKOB another anniversary is taking place. The Daiquiri Deck (5250 Ocean Blvd.) marks 20 years in Siesta Village with a weekend (Nov. 16-17) of activities that include food and drink specials. And what would a party be without some prize giveaways?
BRUNCH TIME I love brunch, who doesnt really. And, The Table Creekside (5365 S. Tamiami Trl.) puts on a pretty nice one. Sunday Dec. 1st is the day that Chef Pedro Flores rolls out his Intercontinental buffet. If buffets arent your thing there is a wide selection of off the menu brunch items to choose from including, a Short Rib Eggs Benedict! WOW.

NEW IN THE KITCHEN Congrats to The Sandbar (100 Spring Ave., Anna Maria) for adding award winning pastry chef, Andrea Spring to their staff. She is the winner of three Best of Show awards at the Crisco American Pie Council National Pie Contest (this is baking contest not eating contest). She brings her assistant, Sam Major to the party with her. Best of luck to both of them.
OPEN FOR BREAKFAST FYI Demarcos Italian Grill (3131 Clark Rd.) is open for breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. Who knew? Their menu features a nice selection of omelets and skillet dishes (no A.M. Carbonara). They have also recently opened for lunch.
LIGHTS OUT It sure seems like restaurants open and close around this town weekly. The latest to shut their doors for good is Zantes Gyros in Gulf Gate. Sorry to see them go. They had good food at a fair price. They put out a delicious Chicken Gyros. Farewell
