Sometimes great items never make the REAL menu.

Have you ever walked into a place, sat down at the bar (or table) and looked over at another persons plate to see what they’re having? Of course you have. We are all naturally curious, especially when it comes to our food.

Take a look at the delicious sandwich above. Looks awesome, right? It’s packed with goodies. Here’s a rundown. You’’ve got avocado, bacon, tomato, turkey, looks like remoulade (or thousand island) all contained within two perfectly toasted pieces of white bread. That is a sandwich you can be proud of.

There is one small (and I do mean small) problem. You have to work a little to get it. This tempting sandwich comes from Siesta Key’s one and only SKOB. It’s technically a SKOBwich. But, you won’t find it listed there on the regular menu. You’re going to have to get a little creative to have one show up in front of you.

The good new is it’s not all that hard. Just tell your server to give you that great sandwich you saw on dineSarasota.com. If they give you a blank stare, go ahead and fill them in on what’s between the bread.
